As a rescue and transport group, the need for cash is always real.

We own our transport van; however, like any vehicle it must be kept in tip top shape for our rescue road trips.  Oil changes, new windshield wipers, tired rotated and inspections all add up.  Add to that appropriate insurance and it adds up to a nice sum annually.

On top of maintenance, one of our greatest expenditures is the purchase of gasoline.  I mean we put a lot of miles in moving dogs in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and outside of the Lone Star State.

Pets Going Places does not charge a delivery fee for our rescued pups, it is left to donors to help make the rescue trips happen.  A tank of gas is about $75, so whether you want to cover a complete tank, or just a portion of the tank . . . . any amount is appreciated.

Amazon and Chewy Wishlists

If you have a pet in your home, you already know how fast they can go through food, toys, and other supplies. Our volunteers work hard to procure donated items locally.  We also work closely with Uptown Pup in Dallas and the North Texas Rescue Bank to secure donated or discounted supplies.

With new dogs arriving almost daily, and new fosters coming on board to help with our mission, it seems we are in constant need of additional supplies.  Sometimes it is corrals, pee pads, treats, collars and leashes.  Other times it is special supplements for a special needs dog.  The needs do change quite often.

Buying an item off one of our wishlists is one of the best ways to support our efforts. It allows you to donate items most in need at that time.  You can choose to ship items directly to our volunteers.

Our hope is that limited funds or supplies never hinders our ability to help a dog in need.
